With a focus on individual rather than group coverage, the company's products include CeltiCare Health Plan, the CelticSaver HSA Health Plan, the CeltiCare for Kids Health Plan, and the Celtic Short-Term Health Plan. Celtic also offers post-employment benefits and a transplant program. The company has sales offices in Chicago and Charlotte, North Carolina, and is licensed in all states except New York. Celtic Health Insurance Coverage Options
Celtic Basic: This plan offers members a basic HMO managed-care plan with high deductibles and low premiums. Members can choose physicians and other healthcare providers from an approved network without needing referrals, and are able to choose non-network providers at a higher cost. Coverage includes inpatient and outpatient hospital services, preventative care, and home health care. When enrolling, members can choose from several deductible options. Coinsurance is 80/20 with $30 copays for office visits.
CeltiCare Select PPO: Members pay a $15 copay to any network healthcare provider. Members can choose from several deductible options when enrolling, with a choice of 80/20 or 100% coinsurance. This is a high quality health insurance program.
CelticCare "Any Doc" PPO: Members pay a $35 co-pay for any office visit. Members can save money by using network member hospitals.
CeltiCare Managed Indemnity: Members can choose any healthcare provider they wish, network member or not.
CelticSaver HSA PPO (Doctor and Hospital): This is a high deductible, low premium policy where members pay their approved medical bills with pre-tax dollars accrued in a Health Savings Account. Because any funds deposited in this account are tax-exempt, this option may save you money on your income taxes. With this plan, you will receive additional savings by using network healthcare providers.
Celtic Save HSA Managed Indemnity (No Network): This plan is similar to CelticSaver HSA PPO in that you will have a high deductible, low premium policy. You will also be able to spend pre-tax dollars on approved medical expenses. However, with the Managed Indemnity Plan, you will be able to choose any healthcare provider.
